Of course, there have been a lot of gays throwing shade about Ian and Ryan’s rumoured relationship on social media, but hey, lets give the guys a chance to enjoy themselves. Who are we to say they can’t have fun? And those who are still – yes still!?! – pissed that it took Ian Thorpe so long to come out – what business is it of ours? As we say constantly on GuysLikeU, people should only come out when they are ready to do so. Only we as individuals can decide when the right time is to make that life-changing decision and it’s not healthy for us to criticise those in the public eye who do not come out when we want them to.
